Pilot Precision is a Canadian precision machine shop based in Ottawa, Ontario. We are a manufacturer of high-quality industrial, laboratory and prototype components for a wide range of applications.
About Us
Pilot Precision was incorporated to address a need for precision forged components in the area, and has since expanded to supply castings and other machined components across North America.
While many machine shops can offer components at competitive rates, Pilot Precision is focused on distinguishing itself through its commitment to building long-term relationships based on the timely delivery of high quality, precise components.
Pilot Precision is a partner of Kisaan Die Tech, an India-based manufacturer of open and closed die forgings. This relationship provides Pilot Precision with access to forgings which can then be machined to your specifications.
Precision can come at a cost, but Pilot Precision will work with you to refine your requirement and improve the manufacturability of components without compromising quality. Whatever your requirement is, Pilot Precision is here to deliver.
Equipment and Capabilities
We are equipped with high-speed CNC milling and turning equipment, manual turning capability and a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM). As of 2020, our in-house equipment comprises:

In addition to our in-house capabilities, we also offer custom coating, welding and finishing through a network of local manufacturers and suppliers.
Pilot Precision exercises complete process control, from material selection to machining and packaging. This enables us to deliver the highest quality products at the most competitive cost. Material traceability is maintained through all stages of the manufacturing process and inspection programs can be customized to your requirements.
Final products are carefully inspected for dimensional tolerances and surface finish before being packaged to your specifications. Certificates of Origin and Test Certificates can be provided on request.
